In that case, I have no further ideas to avoid corruption. Index corruption just seems to occur every now and then; when you get weird results, try reindexing. You might go for a safer C/S solution, but that would probably be "overkill" (not worth the trouble, if it's only for the indices).
Examples of weird results might include a record not found when it is there, or a SELECT - SQL command returning two records instead of one.
