You have two alternatives:
First, you can use Microsoft SysInfo control to gather information about operating system or UPS-status. In this way, however, you cannot gather information about processor, motherboard, etc.
Second, you can use API-function to gather necessary information. Check MSDN and/or API Text Viewer for these functions:

GetSystemInfo
GlobalMemoryStatus
GetWindowsDirectory
GetSystemDirectory
GetVersionEx
