I'm not sure what you are asking .. but I think you are asking about controlling the space between lines of a multi-line field object, such as a memo field with "stretch with overflow". If this is what you are asking ... the answer is yes, you can control it .. kinda. Make sure "Snap to Grid" is off and then change the height of the object up or down a few pixels, depending on what you need.

However, realize that a "shorter" object doesn't necessarily mean that you'll get less space between the lines. What the VFP Report Writer does is look at the total height of the object and then figures out how many lines of text it thinks will fit in that height. It then takes that line count, multiplies it by the height needed to print one line and figures out what space is left over. It then distributes that space equally between the number of lines it figured would fit.
