>Thanks Dorris. That did the trick. I found out that VFP was renaming the column "CLAIM_" when the native table column name was actually "CLAIM#".
Yeah, we run into that all the time going against our AS/400 data...Things like "#" and "$" get converted to underscore when viewed through VFP's eyes. We are trying to make sure our AS/400 folks don't use the $ and # for any new fields. Most of the time we can just to a CHRTRAN() on the underscores to convert to "#", but now they added a few columns that use "$", so those have to be explicitly listed exceptions...
