>You asked a question and I provided an answer.

You did not provide an answer to my question. I asked "Why concepts?" and you went on some tangent explaining why you didn't need to answer the question.

>A hypothetical situation is just that - hypothetical. The question is whether it is a reasonable hypo. You may not accept it - but nonetheless, it is an argument.

Yeah, it is an arguement. Its called an invalid one. "If A Then B. Therfore B" doesn't hold up, unless you can prove A. Which I asked you to do. And you did (could?) not.

>It is a generalization on my part. Consultants often try to make things a black art.

Um, it was not a generaliztion. You said that this is not the case for consultants choosing VB.NET over C#.

Of course, for some consultants, keeping .NET a "black art" may better serve an alternate agenda that VB .NET would not serve.

Seems rather specific.

I feel, much like you probably do, that the langauges are the same thing, through and through, and I woudln't have replied to your posts if thats all you said, but you went a step further and attacked those not touting VB.NET.

>In one fell swoop, you earned back your "spectator" status...< s >...

Oh shucks. I've mentioned this before, I couldn't care less about the labels and statuses you assign to people and groups. Your superficiality makes me sick.
