>Dear everyone
>How can you make a backup copies of your foxpro program folder during run time when you issue eg., copy file C:\fox\*.* to d:\mycopy\*.* without creating an error "file is in use". I laready tried the "close all" command but it did not work. Thanks
If you need to copy data files, open the tables in shared mode and 'copy to' a new table in a backup directory. If they're part of a database, you'll have to include a dbc in the backup directory and specify it while copying tables. After the copy is complete, you'll be able to copy the files.
