Have a VFP 6.0 app deployed with fairly large number of users (15-25).
Server is Win2K and workstations are Win98 and Win2kPro. Having issues
(mostly on the Win2k workstations) when appending records with append blank
and append from array. General message is "File is in Use'.
Seems that we are getting more errors as they add more Win2k workstations.
It seems I remember in FPD2.6 with Nt workstations, that there were some
registry changes which would disable or change some of the caching and
locking mechanisms.
Does anyone know of such a solution for Win2k? Any other ideas how to
address this issue
