Yeah - this is the routine I am using for packing the tables

use table1.dbf in 2 exclusive
select table1.dbf
pack
use

use table2.dbf etc....

I can't see much wrong with it...

Could I use

SET PRINTER TO clrstock.txt

at the top of the code to route output to a text file instead?
