I come onto the UT most days just to have a browse and usually spot a few questions I can answer, but then 9/10 times someone has usually responded, not only that but I notice it's usually the same people hogging the UT responding to everyone's questions so damn promptly that no-one else has any chance of getting a response in.
You are perfectly right there are very qualified programers, which have rich programming in FP/VFP experience capable to get promt answer almost immediately. This is very useful for comunity and programmers, who has problem and needs of fast solutution to continue their work.
I mean come on, most of us have got to earn a living and work through the day, but the impression I'm getting is that some people seem to be logged in constantly hunting down questions and getting all the points.
Part of us are support staff and their pure working time daily is not more than 2 hours. Only in emergency they work more. There are Independent consultants, which train theirselfs between two contracts or visits of the clients.
If the only way of getting points is to try and bloody race for them and give up my working day, then screw the points!!!
No usualy early in the morning(GMT) you can override them, because they sleep. To get poits is not most valuable thing in the thread.
