I couldn't understand reason "lack of VFP programmers at the location".
The world become a big village using Internet. Only companies and their bosses must undersand that instead of to hire low qualified programmers will be cheaper to find profesionalists, who will telecomute them from their homes.
I can defend this because, I support applications in New Zealand, the Netherlands, USA and this not create any problems. Even some of them gain more than another. NZ firm send me his requirements in the end of working day and early in the morning next day receive ready solution.
