>I have found it both chalenging and entertaining to learn VB Having been a Fox programmer.
Dan;
LOL!
I like your choice of words and they hit my funny bone! As a xBase/Fox developer for over 20 years (17 years with the fox) when I had to do my first VB application I added a few words to my vocabulary that I cannot repeat in public.
It did not take long for me to become proficient after grumbling to myself as to how things had to be done. In all I was able to push the envelope using VB because of my VFP experience. Several experienced VB consultants reviewed my work and said, “I did not know you could do that”!
I still feel that VB is not the tool to use to handle data if you want to be successful, deliver on time and reduce development cost. I just do what I am paid to do and enjoy the ride.
