Hi Vlad,

I've implemented the code, described in a FAQ, and it works perfectly. Thank you for your devotion to the problem.

>Hi!

>I prefer to do not overload interface by a lot of different fonts, colors, bold and underlined text. In such case user is lost because near every detail of interface catch the attention and as a result spoil work. I use usually tool tips to hint user what could be done with something. For example, use a tool tip "You can sort this column, quick search here or multi-select values in it".
>
>How to organize tool tips for elements of grid - see FAQ#8149. You can use also fancy Tool Tip control (it is here in downloads), improved a bit to display different tool tip for different grid parts.

>P.S. Please, in the future, ask separate subject question ina new thread. You will have better chanse to get correct answer, or will have more approaches from which you can choose.

>>Since I need to control this column by column, I try to show the user what is possible with an column by using Fontparameters, as italic for multiline mark, bold for input, underline for sort. Now I try to incorporate incremental search to it. Since strikethru doesn't seems to be real cool, I have no idea how to display the possibility of that feature. Do you have any suggestions?

>>>There are nothing related to form for width and height - there is a confusion here in the help file. However, for grid header ObjToClient() for width will return different value compare to column.width, but only in case when header is cut by right edge of the grid.

>>>P.S. You can ask any other questions about SortGrid functionality.

If it's not broken, fix it until it is.
