the list tries to expand itself at the bottom and items are not shown correctly... :(

What does incorrectly mean? (I have a dictionary <g>) I mean what do you expect - and what happens?

I tried to reproduce this but noticed only that the combo is populated upwards insted of downwards.
If you like to populate it always downwards, maybe DisplayCount property will help you in most of the cases, but not all of them.
