Have you tried to do a pack memo command to maybe reduce the fpt to below the 2Gb limit?

>In a FoxPro 2.6 application, my memo data no longer shows in edit. I had read that an .fpt file is only limited by the size of space in your hard drive. The .fpt file has surpassed 2GB and now--at 2,230,077 bytes--the file cannot find the memo file. I ran Abri Recover on it and it found it has memo pointer errors but could only recover a third of the data. Can this be because the file is over 2 GB? How do I recover the data if the reason I can't read it is because it is over 2 GB?
