In addition, there are 48 F-16s stationed at nearby Hill Air Force Base. 24 will be in use at any one time. After Sept 11, there were only 12 F-16s in the sky for the entire country. There are also several BlackHawk Helicopters and who knows what else they have patrolling the skies. The military has also setup a radar station on top of one of the mountains.
