At this point I don't really know what else to do. The problem is not reproducable and from my research it can be caused by 1. A bug in VFP allowing the record count to become corrupted. 2. Bad network drivers 3. Network caching 4. Bad Karma. I suppose I should add to that programmer error even though in this case I am "virtually" certain that is not the case. As you said the problem is chronic - but you must understand I have over a thousand users with every assortment of equipment that can be imagined. What to do...
A problem is a problem only as long as it has a possible solution. Lacking that, it becomes a FACT!
