>Did you see the 43 year old Thailand guy in the men's cross-country? My wife and I felt sorry for him becuase he came in last. But at least he got to compete.
I watched some of it today. I saw the Women Cross-Country 15 k which had a great finish. Among our Canadian highlight of the day was the couple skating tonight where Sele and Pelletier did a perfect run except on the last second. But, they're on 2nd spot with 2 rounds left in that event. We also got a 4th place on mogules from the Women's team. So far no medal but good results and effort. Speed skating is what we mostly focus on for medals as well as the first game of the Men's hockey team on Friday leaded by Super Mario. :)
I haven't seen any coverage of the games on US channels. I tried to switch to a US channel when Perra was going for his world record on speed skating (which he holded for a few minutes) to see the US spirit and feeling from a US coverage but was not able to find a channel which was covering it live.
So far, I got most of the live and best coverages from CBC. Our CBC french channel are not really up to date with events.
We have a downhill race tomorrow and we will look for Ed Podivinsky. That should be an interesting run.
