I have a MS SQL 7.0 table containing a large image column which, in the remote view, is mapped to memo field. In order to streamline the loading of the remote view i checked “Fetch Memo”. The fact is that VFP70 pays no attention to this checkbox. This is manifested by slow loading of the remote view when image contains large data and fast loading when the image is empty regardless of the value of the checkbox.
I do not use any forms, i just
USE MyRemote

Tell me i that am wrong.

Anyway, How to download image to memo only when needed?
