This is one of my favorite VFP functions to comment on.
1 it works.
2 its fast
3 Mysql does have some missing features that you may or may not
need to complete your application. check their site..
4 Easy to set up and get going.
5 Lots of docs on using it as a desktop app(odbc) and the data also used
with PHP for exposing a web element. All without having to resort to west-wind or IIS. and still maintain a great VFP front end.
I could forward on some links if you are interested.
6 It is not as powerful / Features as Postgresql + VFP, but you can expect it
to be better in many ways than using VFP tables.
