Visual FoxPro and .NET
Thanks everyone for your help,
I can now update my foxpro tables using ADO and OLE DB if I...
a). Use the connection.execute method as opposed to the recordset.update method.
Or
b). Use a client-side recordset object.
Using VB.net, I can now update using an oledbcommand with an oledbconnection, but not using the oledbdatadapter.update method.
I am currently investigating the practicality of providing client/server capabilities for an existing FoxPro database, using VB.net and web services.
If anyone knows of any good VFP sites dedicated to .net integration, information on the OLE DB provider for VFP, or similar sites/articles, I would be very grateful.
Thanks again
Mike Williams
