Thanks for the answer. That was too easy but not so obvious :)

ColumnCount is in the Layout tab while DisplayCount is in the Data Tab! Another 'weird' thing. The default for DisplayCount says 0 in the properties page yet at runtime it gets set to 7. Before I received this help, I was looking for a combobox property that had a 7 set in it and obviously I missed the DisplayCount since it is 0.

Minor annoyances but I'll get over it.
