In a test environment, I am running SQL2000 on a WIN2000 server; we apply the lates SP and patches on a regular basis so they should be up to date. The partition on which the programs are kept is 3 Gb (usually at least 1.5 Gb available and TEMPDB is on this drive) and the data partition is 27 Gb (about 15 Gb available). I can move TEMPDB over to the data partition but don't believe that is this root problem. Before long, I will be changing to SQL2000/WIN2000 for production, so I feel I must resolve this in case it arises in production:

I received Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC Drivers error '80040e14'
specifying that "'TEMPDB' Could not allocate space for object because the
'DEFAULT' filegroup is full". I rebooted the server to reintialize TEMPDB.

Now I can query from Query Analyzer but when I call more than 1 record from
an asp program, I get the error message "'80040e31' [Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server
Driver]Timeout expired".

The same programs and file layouts were working prior to this problem and there is plenty of room on the server now. Any ideas? Thanks in advance for your assistance.
