I have a hankering to write some software using VFP and one of the Voice Recognition Active X controls I see advertised for developers to use.

The application I have in mind will require the microphones to be situated in various rooms so I need software that can deal with that.

Wearing a mike will not be an option for my users, however the recognised vocabulary need not be large.

Has anyone one come across software that does not require a high degree of audio clarity to work.

I would expect this not to be a problem with a fairly small vocabulary.

Has anyone come across software that fits the bill.
