I'm not think that error may be fired BETWEEN commands. From your description very likely that error caused by stack overflow in OCX. In that case error may appear on next commands. And error may appear or nor appear depending on data. I'm also not sure that VFP always shows the right place where error happens. Sometimes while debugging FLL or DLL I have seen that VFP incorrectly shows line with error.

Like NHL there are many UT playes with Russian names. But most of them represent
