Yes your right, it happen when debugger is open. Yesterday I was making a complex prg and had to follow the code. Every time I had to cancel the program I was not able to run it again. So I all the afternoon I was closing and opening FoxPro again and again. Very boring.

Thanks to all

Mike

I can't compile the prg, FoxPro say that he can't create the file (fxp). I try to clear memo, clear all, release all, ............ The only way is to close FoxPro each time and reopen again.

That's an old bug, the .fxp is still open by something in the debugger, and there's no remedy to this (short of the old go-out-get-in) that I know of. Clear Prog may help sometimes, but most of the time it doesn't.
