Can anybody give me some ideas on the following problem. We have just got a new W2k advanced server cluster (joins 3 other W2k servers) and getting data from it is slower for two or more users than our old Novell server. The fox .exe VFP 6 patch 5 (also tried VFP7 patch 1) is located on the clients PC, the data on the W2k server. First person in, runs a large report, takes about 10 seconds to run. Runs the report a second time, runs in about 6 seconds. Second user logs in, run the same report while the first person is still in, takes 15 seconds. First person logs out. Second person run the same report, run in about 7 seconds. On the novell server both users got the same speed. We don't have AV on this new W2k server yet. Client PC's have TCP/IP and IPX clients (have tried removing IPX - no change). Disable AV on clients PC. Tried data on other W2k server, same results. Is there switch or patch that I may be missing, this is driving me mad.
