I'm moving my toolbars to hot-tracking buttons in vfp7. One of the other managers here asked why. I said, "Well, it's state-of-the-art, isn't it? Look, see how all these other apps use them?"

He still said, "but why? I don't see any improved functionality. It's harder to tell they're really buttons when they're flat. Looks like a waste of time."

I didn't have a good answer to that. Anyone else?
