>I need to incorporate a live update feature into my suite of Visual Fox Pro programs. I need it to check on the version of dll's and exe's currently on the local machine. It needs to connect to a remote FTP site and download new versions if need be. Does anyone know of a Third-Party utility I could embed or even use as a side utility for such a purpose?

We're implementing something similar using wwIPStuff and DynaZip. First we download a DBF over HTTP (it could be done over FTP as well) which contains a list of files updated for each version. We compare to the version the user has installed, and download only the files needed. These are zipped of course, so we use DynaZip to install. It's not an all-in-one package, but it will get you a long way. Both wwIPStuff and DynaZip can be downloaded to evaluate before purchasing.
