We have developed Query Report Generator with VFP6.0 for our VFP6.0/SQLServer7.0 applications. Now we develop Second version with VFP7.0, which will work with VFP7.0/SQL Server2000. I hope that till end of the moth we will be ready with Beta version.
Main features of module are:
Data are grouped in categories, predefined by administrator. There are defined tables, join conditions between tables, where clauses, hidden fields (like keys) etc.
Application uses user-defined strings for names of connections, tables and fields. The user has only to choose desired fields, grouping and sort order.
User can also defines data ranges (additional where clause) for reported data.
It also has possibility to save constructed reports for later use and to export data in different file formats.
