Could be, I'm hitting a table with 18 fields, 33974 records. In the command window:

sys(3054,1)
open database \\myserver\mydata\lposdata.dbc
set database to lposdata
select * from stylesheet where unitsellprice > 10

after a clean boot. I can't see how a local drive select could be that much worse.
