Does anyone have any idea why the following code will not work in a com server but does not generate an error. I just does nothing.

xmltocursor(lcString,"tablename")

The string is valid. I had the server return it to the client and I ran the function on the client side and it worked fine. I have about 10 functions with this line of code. Every one fails. It does not stop the function. The rest of the lines of code following execute fine.
