QueryMaker works as expected with VFP 7/Win XP and is easy to implement. While you have a license to distribute it, you can not distribute the utility that creates the control database, a limitation that could be worked around. The user manual is well written.

QM strength is its Ad Hoc Query and Report Modules as well as its output options. This is in addition to it being easy for the end user to use.

QM is a affordable solution, and although a bit dated (it provides output to MS Multiplan) it is still a viable alternative. Author support is prompt and attentive.
