Looking back at your original question, I believe you should use a table. Add rows as needed. Use a placeholder to search for the beginning of the table (first cell).

Oh, I just remember - as an alternative of typing actual text, you can use a bookmark to go to a specific place. The bookmark can mark an insertion point, or select some text.

Check the command "Insert | Bookmark".

I think both would be about the same, for automation, with regard to simplicity.
