No, I don't have any sample. I would simply create the table (in the template) with 1 row and 3 columns (or however many you need), and make each column the correct width.
Then, when opening the document with automation, if you need 6 rows of variable information, run a loop to insert a row (except on the first iteration), and insert data into the appropriate columns. The standard key to go to the next cell is TAB. In interactive mode, TAB will a) go to the next column, b) if you are in the last column, add a row and select the first column. If you save macros, you will probably get two different results for both cases.
