>>I have been watching the Olympics since they were first televised. Over the years it is evident that politics and individuals rule the events. Judges will have prejudices and express them but the ?body? (Olympic Committee) will do nothing to overturn a decision. The integrity and decisions of any judge are questionable especially when ?you were there? and saw the event!

>From the latest news in the last minutes, the ISU has officially launched investigation on this. Decision will remain but answers will have to ge given I guess.
>
>CNN talked about it for a while this afternoon. TNS had special coverages of it in the last hour by showing the performances again from the Russian and Canadian teams. Former Canadian skater, involved in the Canadian Olympic deleguation and judge occasionnaly at specific events mentioned today that she is thinking of refusing any judge implication again. The Los Angeles Times has special coverages on that as well. And, of course, Canadian deleguation has mentioned they'll want to investigate as well. And, no surprisingly, Pelletier is thinking of quitting state competition.

>The question is, who will ever want to be judge again.

It's not a problem being a judge. It seems the problem is with respecting the rules. It's only a matter of being fair. That apparently was not the case yesterday.
