Do the times coincide with any backup plan on those servers? If so, is there an open files agent installed in the backup software, adn could the problem files be open on some workstation, sucha s some user who doesn't properly log out at night?
Very wierd that it only affects the Fox programs. Have you tried flagging one of them as Read Only and see if it still gets modified?
