OOPs found a problem
Your class has the same problem that I described before. On the first time the combo is used, it always finds the first row in the table no matter what I type. This problem goes away if I use an array for the rowsource instead of a table. This will work fine if I use an array so my problem is solved. Just thought you would like to know. Thanks again.

Works like a charm. I guess I need to read all those books I have once in a while <g>.
Thanks

I have been working on a combo class that I want to do some processing based on what the user is typing. I put some code in the InteractiveChange method and was having problems with the first character typed. So I decided to go to the least common denominator and tested the base class. >>

1001 Things You Wanted to Know About VFP we have a quickfill combo class in chapter 5 that works like the one you are trying to build.
