Alex, when you upgrade to a new version or new product, you always retain all the rights to previous licenses you have, you do not give up anything. I would say that getting an MSDN Subscription (Pro, Professional, or Universal) is your best and least expensive way to get VFP, VS, Windows, etc. For more information on that, see
