Alex, when you upgrade to a new version or new product, you always retain all the rights to previous licenses you have, you do not give up anything. I would say that getting an MSDN Subscription (Pro, Professional, or Universal) is your best and least expensive way to get VFP, VS, Windows, etc. For more information on that, see http://msdn.microsoft.com/subscriptions/prodinfo/levels.asp
