I have a FPW 2.6a application that runs well enough in Windows 2000. Will it run as well in Windows XP ?

I know other users had problems running 2.6 in, say, WinME, with file= problems. With Win2000, I was surprised that I never needed to specify a files= parameter (2000 just seems to give the application what it needs), whereas in Win9X (where the 2.6 app runs best), I need to specify a sufficient files= parameter in the config.sys.

I guess the main question is (apart from will 2.6 run in XP <s>) is, if it does, are there any files= issues in XP like there were in WinME ?

Most of the systems are now in VFP but I have to account for the last few legacy 2.6 modules, until they are converted.
