PhdbaseIII is an old product, no longer being developed, but still available from www.hallogram.com.

It gives really excellent indexed full-text facilities under VFP5 and FPW26. I've used it under VFP6 and (since yesterday!) under VFP7 as well.

I suspect you may have reliability problems if there's a lot of multi-user updating of your searchable data under VFP7, but if you're searching a fairly static snapshot it should work.

Lets hope this functionality will appear in VFP8.
