I have a large number of users running an exe at various sites under VFP v5.0. In the past, upgrade exe's created by setup under VFP5 would just install over the older version - simple!

However, I have now upgraded to VFP7 and Installshield and when I send out the upgrade, it won't replace the existing exe although the Installshield finishes without an error. The upgraded details then appear in the Control Panel's Add/Remove Programs.

Only by 'Removing' the program details in the Add/Remove Programs section and then re-installing does the upgrade appear with the correct version of the exe.

Is this a problem, an undocumented feature or am I missing something?
