I have an simple menu with 3 bars. The menu was designed with Menu Designer. In the "Options" page (for 2 of them) I set "Skip for" to a logical value which is initialy .t.
The problem appears when activating the menu in the Activate Method of my top-level form. The bars that should be disabled are enabled until I try to select them (only then they appear disabled...)
Is there some spooky refresh methos I have to call so they will appear disabled from the begining?
I'm talking here about an application that dont'permit acces to the menu options until the user does'nt login (which is the first bar of the menu). The program must run even if there's nobody logged in because it reads real-time data from serial port and generates alarm messages and sounds deppending of the value read from com1, so the solution of not running the program if there's nobody who has an password for it is not acceptable.
If you can give me an solution, please do it quick.
Thanks in advance,
