What about part 2 of my question? I would like to have the ability to initiate an action on another user's machine, if certain conditions are met. I could turn on a flag in the user table and initiate the action when the user logs off. I would, however, like to do it immediately, but how do you make the application keep checking the user table to see if the flag is on, without using a timer or DO WHILE, both of which kill performance? Do you have any ideas?
