hey everyone,
i am having trouble trying to figure out how to evaluate spaces in a table field. here is my problem: i have a table which is placing a drive path in the table field. sometimes i will get something like: c:\drive\ and then other times i will get c:\drive. how can i evaluate from the left of the table field the spaces and say something like:

"if left(whatever space command is)<> '/' then add '/' "

any help would be appreciated. thanks.
