Hi everyine,
I'm working at an Institution at Arizona State University (ASU) ASU. I'm having trouble with "packaging and deploying" my VB application.

First, in the packaging stage I get a warning which says "The following dependency files are missing: MSACC9.OLB, PDADDIN.DLL, VSPDL.DLL". The only way to skip that is clicking OK.

Then on the next screen I get another warning which says "MSSTDFMT.DLL" is out-of-date, I click OK again. At the end I get a "setup.exe, setup.lst, and my .CAB file" anyway.

We are connected to the ASU network. When tried to install my application on some computers in the network, and I started to have the real problem. Three things happened on different computers:
1. On some computers, it did install the application,
2. On some computers, it did install but I had to click "ignore" each time when setup warned me that the following files could not be copied becasue of some "access violation error", (stdole2.tlb, asycfilt.dll, olepro32.dll, oleaut32.dll, expsrv.dll, vbajet.dll, pdaddin.dll)
3. on some of them (also on my home computer which is not connected to the network) I got the following "Setup"
warning dialog box.
"Setup cannot continue because some system files are out of date on the system. Click OK if you would
like setup to update these files for you now. You will need to restart windows before you can run setup again.
Click Cancel to exit setup without updating system files." Of course I tried to restart, it didin't work.

Finally the question is what should I do to obtain a consistent, working setup file?

Thanks
