I'm sorry but I am afraid I am more right than I wanted. I looked up several sources as well as MSDN and MS KB. Nothing of valuable information.

I found a C# program in the Knowledgebase ( entere "SHBrowseForFolder" and search everywhere ) There they were using hex-values for Printers, Desktop etc.
but it did not show me anything I could work with.

I am afraid You'll have to look into the "SHBrowseForFolder". I think VFP wraps around that and returns only folder-stuff.

Sergey is probably the one with the best solutions in this thread.

I don't know what exactely You want to do but if You can't get mor info about this SHBrowseForFolder-thing You'd probably have to read the stuff from the registry and build Your own tree (I think they're called "special folders")
