My app runs on a network. The main form sets the dataenvironment to include all the necessary tables. I use ODBC to connect to an AS400 database and make updates. To get the updates to work I have to do a USE command which drops all the tables from my DE. So I do DE.closetables, DE.opentables. This works okay as long as other users don't have the same record pulled up. Why would the DE on one user affect the DE on another user? How can I keep the app from locking up?
