I didn't think this was applicable to FoxPro 2.x.

The help suggests setting a very small font that is unreadable, or selecting a font where all chars are the same.

I'm not sure if you can set the colors so that the background & foreground are the same, but you don't get any idea of how many chars you've entered then.
