PMFJI, but I dislike this new "feature", and "dislike" is the polite word for what I really want to say about it. I've been using VFP since the first release of 3.0, and I can't recall wanting to change the _screen properties more than once or twice. Therefore I don't want the properties window up unless a scx or vcx is up. Sure, you can uncheck dockable, but then it loses is "always on top" property. So if you're editing a form that takes full screen, you have to keep hitting the properties button to get the properties window back on top. Then you click on the form and it goes away again.
Sure you can dock it with the command window, but then if you click the properties button in the form designer to hide the properties window, it's undocked when you open it again.
What I would like to see is an option to have the properties window always on top, even when it was not dockable. To me, this is a case of MS fixing something that wasn't broke.
Just my humble opinion,
Vince
