But wasn't that a complaint for years and years? Other countries that perpetually won gold medals paid their Olympic athletes to train and compete, yet in the U.S. it was only non-professional players allowed to compete in the Olympics. It wasn't that long ago it changed somewhat. Remember the first U.S. Olympic basketball team comprised of professional players? :0)
